For once it's your turn to do a little dream interpretation. I can do it. I've done it for years. It's really quite simple. Now my dream interpretation idol is of course Joseph in the book of Genesis. The dude had it going on. Of course he had some supernatural help.
Basically, in my dream, I go back to grad school in Lubbock. I'm still married. The campus is always the same, but NOTHING like the real campus. It's very interesting. But still a campus. I'm always wondering in the dream if I'm still married or how I'm going to keep an apartment and can I still work. Will my wife care if I'm 300 miles away?
And the cafeteria and dorms are too cool.
Any thoughts?

Was the overall mood of the dream stressful? Or worrisome? How did you feel in the dream?
How do you feel about your mother? lol
Um, you either occasionally miss the lifestyle you had in school or you want to go back to school for some reason.
I never want to go back to school. Ever. That place sucked.
I agree with jlee. It's probably a mom complex.
I love your dream. I think that since you and your wife met some time after college (from what I gather from past posts) it could be your way of trying to share with the center of your life now (wife & family) the watershed life experience many people have (college).
I have similar dreams. I didn't meet my wife until well after college and have often thought that if she had been a part of my life then she would have kept me from doing so many stupid things.
…in mine Waco has moved to Montana, Martin Hall has turned into Gryffindor and the Brazos has turned from a mud trickle to a deep & dark raging river with Niagara-like waterfalls.
If you want my honest opinion, I think dreams are like screen savers that keep our brain from overloading while we sleep. I don't think they actually "mean" anything.
I have to agree with Tink! 100%! Otherwise, how do you explain my dream of visiting friends in their new home, a tree house, where it constantly rained sticky rice? Ok, that may have been the vicodin at work, but in general, I agree. Dreams are just our brain's way of blowing off steam.
