My daughter is playing indoor soccer this winter. I love the place she plays, I hate the teams she plays. They are all these "select" teams. How do 7 year olds get to be that good. Steroids, that's how.At her age they stop keeping score when one team goes above 9, but they keep playing. At 7 years old most of them don't care what the score is, sort of.
I care about the parents whose team is up by 12 and they keep screaming for their kid to score more. Or the kid who keeps elbowing or the coach who won't pull all but three of his players back to mid field when you are so far ahead.
Seriously people! Yes, there are winners and losers in life, but you don't have to be a$$h0les about it.
And guess what? Soccer moms that have no life, no job, too much money and Kate Gosselin, hair, ladies. Dude, get a boyfriend, anything, but stop being crappy soccer moms. Winning isn't everything.
Don't you understand just by sheer percentages, your kid will not get a free ride to college from soccer? Or that the chances of them becoming Pele is so minuscule, it would be better to bet on beetle racing?
Geez Louise, get a life and let the kids just play and have fun. We don't need your help. Or your failed high school football playing husband.

I think it's ironic that the same morons that push their kids dragging and screaming into children's sports (that are supposed to just let kids be kids) are the same ones that cry foul if political correctness is not followed to the letter by the rest of us.
OMG, I couldn't agree more. I have seen more than my share of this kind of thing in the years my kids have played sports and it's disgusting. I just want to tell those parents that there is more to life than sports!
Oy, I've seen plenty of this. It does get obnoxious. Seriously, get a hobby. I don't often say take a tip from me, but I'm always looking for something new to try! Don't get so wrapped up in what's supposed to be good memories for your kids.
they should realize how stupid soccer is anyway nobody cares about soccer! :)
I was at my nephews baseball games this past fall and they played a team that were made up of all travel team kids at like age 6 and 7 that's ridiculous! And their parents were doing the same thing they were up huge and they were screaming for their kids to run and score more. UGH I don't want to be that kind of parent
